A masterful piece reminiscent of late 60's rock. It will be much better when I find some gnomes that can sing.

We started out in Medieval England and slowly evolved into a lean mean music making machine
Merlin and the Gnometones were a garageband from the sixties. They toured the US playing for small audiences, living day to day. They recorded over 70 songs using what ever equipment they could borrow. Recently, a tape was discovered with 30 of their original recordings. (Ironically in a garage sale) They have been digitally remastered and posted here for your enjoyment. Seriously, I am a non-performing songwriter just trying to get his music out to people who may enjoy it. Most of it falls into the classic rock genre, but there is a little bit of everything here. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to listen.

Story behind the song
This song was the third written for the Faerie Tunes CD. Any Faerie CD has to have a song about flying.
Lyrics
When I call your name. Will you fly to me girl. Or will you remain In your Never world. A faerie flying by Spreading her dust behind her It would catch my eye. Even if a blur. Flying to the setting sun. Flying to to sea. You're the one I came to find. You're the one for me. ***(Musical verse)*** When I call your name. Will you fly to me girl. Or will you remain In your Never world. A faerie flying by Spreading her dust behind her It would catch my eye. Even if a blur. Flying to the setting sun. Flying to to sea. You're the one I came to find. You're the one for me. ***(Musical verse)*** Repeat and fade....
