Artist picture
A solo studio project spawned in Middle Tennessee and Memphis now working out of New York- Neo Pop/Rock
Artist description The Realside is the first solo project started by Terry McClain. It is truly a solo effort, being that one person writes, records, produces and performs all instruments and vocals. The Realside started with 4 track demos in 1998 in his old garage while playing with many talented musicians in and around the Nashville/Murfreesboro, TN area, then Terry moved to Memphis. There he would develop what would become The Realside while playing in a jazz/jam/world/fusion band called Fausto. Attaining much comradre around Memphis' local scene, Terry recorded a self-produced cd, The Realside:Intro To. After moving to NY in Sept.2000, he recorded the same way but experimenting with the modern electronic aggressive sounds in one project and then a bare-bones solo acoustic folk project for live showcases. The Realside is an equal opportunity enjoyer.

Lyrics
Written by: Terry McClain I finally asked to do no wrong, inside of me said it all along but what do I have to say, what do I have to do/I'm finding it hard to do some good, in spite of it all I knew I would so what am I gonna say, what am I gonna do (Chorus) The pressure's all I seem to know, a badly beaten case, Stretched me out and then let go... I finally passed the counting mark, going too fast I only falter but what do I have to say, what do I have to do (Chorus) The pressure's all I seem to know, a badly beaten case, Stretched me out and then let go and snapped back into place, First you are and then you fail then don't repeat again, That's not the way to win I'm finding it sad I can't take off and leave like a plane that never lifted/ What am I gonna do, what am I gonna say (Chorus-end)
