MEMORIES IN BOXES

Started out this morning
Waking on the floor
I could hear you moving
Through that cold hard bedroom door
My things were piled around me
Like wreckage on the beach
But my rescue's so far out of reach
CHORUS
Memories in boxes
Scattered 'cross the floor
Memories in boxes
I don't think I can fill anymore
'Cause it keeps getting harder
With every relic that I pack
Memories in boxes
Means I won't be coming back
I went to get the car keys
And met you in the hall
Through the stoney silence
Our eyes never met at all
Now once my life is loaded
And I'm about to leave
I'll look behind but I'll see no reprieve
CHORUS repeat
man you need a hug!!!
