GLAD YOU CAME INTO MY LIFE Music by Sandra D. McCarthy Lyrics by Sandra D. McCarthy © Feb 16 2010 by Sandra D. McCarthy (ASCAP) Sandra D. McCarthy-vocals, piano, percussion Carlo D'Anna-vocals,flute, mellotron Originally uploaded Wed Apr 21, 2010 v1 I saw you in a dream one night, And my heart went Ba-da-da-da-da. You were really not here, not quite. Silly dreams of mine. v2 Rains will clear and show the daylight. The sight so warm. Ba-da-da-da-da. Will my dream come true at midnight? Only had the one. Chorus I called your name. You never came. Until today, hope you stay. Hope you stay with me. Hope you stay. v3 Cosmic skies turned off the searchlight. Pleased to meet you. Ba-da-da-da-da. We are spellbound and fate takes flight. We belong in time. Chorus I called your name. You never came. Until today, hope you stay. Hope you stay with me. Hope you stay. Bridge Glad you are now with me, Freely, by my side. Waited for the sun. What took you so long? GLAD YOU CAME INTO MY LIFE. Chorus I called your name. You never came. Until today, hope you stay. Hope you stay with me, Hope you stay. Hope you stay with me, Hope you stay. Hope you stay with me, Hope you stay.

Always fascinating in your lyrical and conceptual approaches, you continue to blaze a unique artistic path in a style that is 100% your own. Your duet with Carlo is a fresh change of pace from your other great tracks. Love the ways this one builds the arrangement near the end. Your creativity and self-confidence are refreshing and I envy that about you. Well done, Sandy and Carlo!

I like this a lot better than most of the fabricated pop songs that I hear on radio. Very good work to both of you on this terrific collab!!!

Hey ! this is a nice happy pop song. Seeing as you also like the fab 1960's, how can I not give this song a great big thumbs up . . . Great production singing and playing. Now, if this was a 45 single, I'd rush out and buy it. How much? . . . 6 shillings and six pence ? lol
