Story behind the song
A track dedicated to Mary Ann Zielonko. When her lover, Kitty Genovese was murdered in her own apartment block on Friday the 13th of March 1964 it made national news. Galvanised by the sensationalist press, the whole nation criticized Kitty's neighbours for their supposed indifference and inaction.
