This one has your personal signature all over it. LOVE the great wah-wah work (nice purchase!)...and your love of classic R & B shines through on this one. Deep and thoughtful lyrics...and very well-done vocals. Loved the echoes...and all the production work is great. Such a nice open and airy mix. Being actively involved in a 12 Step Program myself...I completely identified with "just one step...to release me from this lie"...that's exactly what a 12 Step program does...it's about spiritual principles (steps) applied to life situations... to initiate behavioral changes. Very cool. Too often...these programs are misunderstood and ridiculed...when the truth is, they can be quite beneficial...and the life-changes can be profound.
Anyway...thanks for sharing this one...and say hi to Silke for me, too!
