Story behind the song
In the future, where people are now independent of machines because they have been implanted with machines, sometimes it is hard not to look back nostalgically, longing for simpler days when we were allowed to eat something unhealthy or go outside without fear of germs killing us. 2112, though, is a utopian society where people make music in their minds and do not have to interact with anyone to do anything.
This is 2112 Nostalgia, a strange song to our modern ears but par for the course for the year 2112.
