Many genres, Contemporary Christian, Lyrics, instrumentals
I write my own songs ;) I have a very diverse taste in music, from Pop to Classical, including Rock, Folk, Jazz, Country, World Music (Celtic, Romanian), Old Timey Stringband/Bluegrass, and Latin. All these styles are in my Christian Contemporary catagory. I usually write the music first, and then put words to the music. Though I don't sing good enough yet, I though I would put my instrumentals out along with my music. Generally, I think my music/lyrics are getting better, being more skilled now than when I started.

Lyrics
O To Be More Like You (or "O To Be Like You")- (2 Cor 3:18) Oh, to be more like you! Perfect redeemer, my longing and prayer Is to follow after you All my life through. Gladly, I'd suffer loss Rather than treasure the world's fleeting wealth For its claims will not fulfill; Jesus, you will. Chorus: I long to Be a little more like you, Smile a little more like you, Cry a little more like you. Consoling in tears, Easing fears; Bless a little more like you, Live a little more like you, Forgive a little more like you, Displaying Your grace In this place Oh, to be more like you! Full of compassion, forgiving and kind; It's Your tender-hearted touch Caring so much; Helping the helpless ones, Cheering the fainting with selfless concern, Seeking sinners that are lost, Bearing the cost. (chorus) Oh, to be more like you! While I am pleading, fill me with Your love; With Your Spirit, make me whole, Heart, mind, and soul. As an example, Lord, Help me in sharing, to give of your life. From a kindle to a glow, Make your love grow. (chorus) Outro: More like you! Oh, to be more like you! Oh, to be more like you! David Davis copyright 2008/2010
