Story behind the song
* Track 1 - Sybarites - Description: a peice I practically rhythmically composed in a matter of an hour. It was inspired by the piece "Senjyu" by the Cyclamen. I loved the sound of the pattering rain in the track so I looked up a rainfall track and I started to play to it with a high reverb setting on my Digitech RP250. Within the next 30 minutes I created the rhythm or basic part of the song where it has its soft relaxing and slightly upbeat points. After first creating the basics I went on by adding small guitar parts to add over the top of the first track numerous times. When I included the bass I made it just a basic tap on the low e with my thumb except for one part where it goes with the guitar part. Then I faced the drums which I first started out with a hi-hat splash and soft hits at the edge of my ride cymbal with a brush which I built slightly to a stop. Then I amped things up with some heavier hits on the ride and built it up to the crashes and so on till I ended in a rudimental snare drum thing.
