A unique four piece from central New Jersey. Blending the most catchy, powerful, and meaningful aspects of several genres Random Legacy can truly not be labeled specifically. While somewhat fitting the pop-punk title, Random Legacy still appeals to non-pop-punk fans. Having already shared the stage with such bands as Yellowcard, Fallout Boy, Matchbook Romance, The Youth Ahead, Wakefield, and All Rights Reserved in only one year together, RL is beginning to make a name for themselves quickly. Their first full-length release Act Now, Think Later to be completed in early February of 2004, and a summer tour is in the works.

Lyrics
Hallway Races I Should Have Let You Win: I could lie and say everything’s okay. Grin wide with laughter too. Brush it off as if nothing happened. Act like I never knew you. So I try but this gets me nowhere. Where can I place this blame. If I could I’d drop this nightmare, But my dreams make it stay. I walk aloof through an empty hallway. Red eyes and tangled hair. I'm a wreck 'cause I've got nothing, And I can’t help but stare Into the black hole that is your body, Barring my every say. Your deception’s just too crafty. Still I can’t walk away. I’ve started shaking, I’m yours for the taking. Here’s your living proof. There’s no point in needing the fire I’m feeding. Dreams just don't come true. Turned it off 'cause I hate that station. I can still hear it though. Echoing throughout my conscious. It’s never been so low. Flawlessness was just a give in. Mind your dishonesty. I guess perfection's not so perfect. It’s just a fantasy. Life is based on tragic fables, titles and misread labels. Pages turn creating lies, stories and false alibis. Chronic use of television, loss of common sense, decisions. Giving hope to those naïve, I concede that I still greave. Dreams are just your forethoughts failing, giving up and simply bailing. They've kept me bound within these walls. I regret it all! You were my last chance. I think it’s safe to say- You were my last chance- Most chances fade away. (Get up why can’t you get up. You’re not even tired. Your faking sleep suits you well. I know when you’re lying).
