Big Sleep is the name of the imaginary 'band/group, that all the music I create with my friend and musical collaborator, Tony Webster goes under. Tony is pictured on the right in the photo; me on the left in the dark blue suit.
Tony is an artist / illustrator, writer of lyrics and stories, song arranger and a mine of information on any subject under the sun . . .
I (David A Briggs) play all the instruments (mostly of the stringed variety), perform all the studio 'jiggery-pokery', sing and dabble a little in the visual arts.

Love the trippy effects on the vocals and the strong prominence of the guitar. Really great vibe!

Agreed....fantastic opener, very tasty! Memorable, perfect tone setter, so well written and performed, pristenely produced.

Real cool retro track. Makes me think of killing Joke and the Beatles for some reason. Both of which also wrote quality material.

I like the way this sets the scene - the steam noises etc., plus it's an excellent tune in its own right. Great riff, nice vocal and great rocking feel.

Very cool Hulabaloo you got here. With a Floydesque psychedelic twist, I would say. Very nice.

This is brilliant, really great styling/sound quality. Very offbeat and unusual, love the effects on the vox. I agree with Tim, has a kind of retro feel, yet somehow this is as fresh as a daisy and contemporary all at the same time.
never knew what to expect with this one. defintely a beatles tinge to it. loved the sound of the intro guitar. very interesting arrangement. vocals sound real good. nice job on this one. gabe
