Story behind the song

A very special friend of mine passed  away,  possibly the darkest time of my life and a time when my only comfort was to write.  London Road was the street where i lived all those years ago.  It's pretty long as songs go but I didn't wanna edit it for the sake of making it more commercial.. decided to keep it as it was intended.
