I was just into law school, first year somewhere around 2000 A.D., and bogged down by all the fancy book learnin', got a jones to quick record a melody that was dogging me while trying to listen to Prof. Engle (International Law)(where I got the highest grade in the class, btw--the one and only straight A and resultant "Excellence for the Future Award" .... but uh... I digress... Yeah... I called Tony K. at FF Studios saying I needed to come in and record a fast ditty.... So I did, that afternoon . . . threw it all together in a couple of hours on the spot ... then .... went back to my studies ..... "Refugee", which is really more of a song sketch than actual finished product ... is the result ......
