All songs produced by me at my studio and most are cowritten with my good friend Jackie Melini. THANK U TO HER CHILDREN AND FAMILY FOR LETTING ME DEDICATE THIS TO HER.. Hi Everyone, I was sitting in front of the T.V. trying to figure out a song I had started back in May of this year. I just couldn't get past the first 2 lines and was banging my head against the wall figuratively speaking. I was half listening and part lost in thought. I had all these thoughts and words swirling around in my head. But I just couldn't seem to get them onto the paper. I was starting to get upset. When I was flipping thru the channels on the T.V. I came to "Walk The Line" the Johnny Cash story. It was right at the part of the movie when Johnny was trying out for Sun Records. And the Owner asked Johnny if there was a song that could sum you up what song would that be. And Johnny broke out with a song he had been singing since he was a young boy and had been working on for years. It then dawned on me. Hmmm. How can I take what I have here and make it Universal to be able to reach many different people under many different circumstances. So I turned off the T.V. and started listening to the music that Copper Ridge has done already. I popped in my old bands CD's from Taliesin Moonwolf. Then just sat back listening to that stupid timer on my wall make noise. LMAO!!! I started thinking of everyone that had touched my life in a positive way. Whether it was a friend or foe. But at one time they were a positive force in my life. Something they had done or said had meant something to me. I just kept going back and thinking of things that were said. Things that made me laugh, that made me cry, that made me think. So with all these emotions running. I took a 2nd note book out. I started writing. I remembered a touch of a hand, a smile that brought me much joy and laughter to a dull day. Jokes and just stories that made me roar with laughter. People that were very kind to me. I thought of all of my family, my soon to be ex-husband, my inlaws, my sister & brother inlaws. This song is a song of forgiveness and letting go of old ghosts and things that have laid heavy on someone or just telling someone they are very special to you. If you have treated someone unfairly, not given them the attention they deserve. Maybe you didn't say "You mean so much to me" and you want to change your ways and open your heart up more. To each person that this song will pertain to it will have a different meaning to everyone. I gave my ex Joe a copy because it was written for him also. So I wrote it in a way that everyone that knows me would know it came from my heart to all of them in a different way. It is an acknowledgement of what you have given me in one way or another. So it is my thank you for helping me to move onto a new part of life. Is this song about "LOVE". Yes, but not in the way that I think it might have been perceived. It doesn't mean "OMG!! I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU". It just means I love ya and I want to thank you for inspiring me and helping me move past obstacles I maybe couldn't have hurdled without you being in my life. To "Void" you from my mind means, to void the past regrets. Not an individual. I have so many new and old friends that mean so much to me. I have 3 in my life that have known me since I moved here in 1988. 3 that are a constant in my life and has been a blessing in disguise for over 20 years. I wanted to get this song at least in part done by the New Year. It is my New Lease on life song for the New Year of 2010. I am hoping that this song will bring back into my life people that I have lost. Bring new and wonderful people into my life. I hope this song touches your hearts as it does mine. When Frank, Maria and I recorded it. Maria and I put Frank thru hell. LMAO!! I needed an sound unlike anything I could think of. I wanted a Island sound that could make you sit
