Story behind the song
The story behind this song is to do with a woman who is in a abusive relationship with a man who she is affraid to leave. She has a lover (the teller of this story) who she is seeing, but she hasn't been around for a while and hasn't contacted anyone. He comes home one day to find her packing her things to do a runner for good as she wants to leave the abusive life behind. The lover pours out his heart telling her of his undying love. He tells her that he would always be there when she needs him and that moment seems to have arrived.
