Ak Slaughter was born in the "Ditchbank" AKA Jacksonville, NC. For the past 15 years Ak has been pursuing his music passion. He began performing at the age of 13. Now at age 32 a Jacksonville, NC resident, he has developed a main stream style and creativity that major labels want. A member of a NC based rap group SSP (Stay Stackin Paper) since 2000, AK Slaughter has decided to branch off and go solo. Presently he is working on a solo album and has already began recording. Ak has become one of North Carolina's premeire underground artist opening for the likes of Method Man, Bone Thugs, Gucci Mane, G Unit, Little Brother and Common.
