Reverance are a two piece Ambient Alternative band from Brisbane, Australia.
Reverance is a two-piece band from Brisbane's Logan area. The band's principal direction is in the instrumental arena although it isn't uncommon for them to venture into other domains for some experimentalism. The duo comprises of Glenn, principally on rhythm guitar while Ross is primarily on lead guitar. Bass work is shared between the band depending on the track. Glenn and Ross continue the tradition of sharing at the mixing desk.
Instruments are recorded directly onto a home PC via Logic Audio. FruityLoops is used to create percussion tracks and imported into Logic, where all elements are then blended together and finally bounced directly into MP3 format.
What started as a weekly get together by a couple of mates to play guitars a few years ago has now evolved into Reverance. The band has a no-nonsense attitude and firmly believe in playing music for the sake of music, which definitely comes across in their work. Expect to hear music that's a little different.
