Story behind the song
"Forevermore" is a poem about a couple in love taking a prom picture on the beach. "Connected" is about sitting by the gulf shore in the dark reflecting on life. " One As I" is about searching for the perfect shell. "Magenta Skies" tells of walking the gulf shore at sunset and late into the evening.
Lyrics
Forevermore Two silhouettes poised against hazy aqua hues wrists of flowers pink chiffon and baby blues black tuxedo statuesque in design treasured memories captured now and for all time hands clasped tightly holding never ending love unfolding shimmering sun dances just off shore snapshot of a moment forevermore Theresa Loder Connected I see a star twinkle in the jet black winter sky it reminds me we're connected you and I streaking through the universe in many shapes and forms we are cosmic dust created to be born patterns by billions yet somehow the same staring out riding through wondering... how we came Theresa Loder One As I I searched the shore for a perfect shell not scaled, cracked or broken would be a find for anyone to cherish as a token I spotted one full of holes with crusty pitted edges appearing to have fallen off a reef with jagged ledges I picked it up for a closer look there etched inside a tiny nook initials from it's charted past tumbling to the shore at last finding safety of a home to lay upon the sand till one as I would pick it up and hold it in my hand Theresa Loder Magenta Skies Have you ever seen a sunset light up magenta skies and shadows... weaving ribbons in the early morning rise where sea oats find there rhythm and coquinas dot the sand to walk along the seashore where great Blue Heron land felt the rush of sea spray splash upon your face if only for a moment transcending time and space I've walked along the seashore beneath magenta skies 'long azure blue Gulf waters till the early morning rise beckoned to the water's edge by something we can't see seasons come , seasons go and still a curiosity stillness of the shore bathed in moon light's gleam souls long for tranquility found in nature's dream Theresa Loder
