NURVIS

Electronic experimental darkwave synthpop - sometimes dark, sometimes dance, sometimes something else.

Sort of Erasure / New Order (musically) but with female vocals - ranging from sweet to angry. Best described as darkwave/synthpop with a twisted lyrical edge. The music of NURVIS combines 80's and 90's influences with contemporary electronic styles. In other words, NURVIS try to embrace those things from the past that got them into music, yet incorporate new sounds and new ideas to create something original and timely.

Story behind the song

The music was written first, inspired by an event that really didn't have anything to do with the lyrics, which were added later.  But ultimately, I guess the two worked well enough together that many fans have said this is their favorite NURVIS song.
