Randle YoungblitZ Berry is a rapper, producer, and songwriter extraordinaire on the rise. Born in Gary, Indiana in 1991, YoungblitZ grew up around a musical family. Music was in his genes from the beginning. His mother is a singer, poet, and artist and his father is a guitarist, singer, producer, and writer. With a large family, consisting of 14 brothers and sisters, YoungblitZ is the only sibling pursuing a passion for music. Other than being musically influenced by his parents and siblings, he also gained inspiration from listening to international music mogul Jay-Z. From that he began writing lyrics at the age of 9, and has been motivated ever since. Most intriguing at that young age was that YoungblitZ created a rap group called A.K.A. 45 with two other friends. Realizing that consistency at that age was rare, YoungblitZ saw that he was the only one taking it seriously, so he left the group at age 11 and decided to pursue his music dream solo. YoungblitZ moved to Atlanta, GA in 2005 and the music reputation the city has attained only added fuel to fulfill his musical dream. YoungblitZâs first recording was an unofficial remix to Fat Joes Lean Back in 2004. In 2006, he began making beats and producing his own music. Since then he has made beats for local Atlanta artists including Kam, Trena J, and City Boy. In late 2006, YoungblitZ once again formed a group called M.O.C. with fellow rappers Tha Prince and Jsalmz. He produced 95% of the material created by the group, further developing his production skills and giving him insight into new realms of musical creativity. The first single, Pray For You was played on the Trackstarzs (Ryan Righteous and Seantana) radio show, The F.I.E.L.D.â In 2007, the group disbanded and YoungblitZ went solo again, remaining focused on his purpose. YoungblitZ began making more remixes to popular songs such as Chris Brownâs âœWall to Wall, Young Jeezys I Put On , and T.I.sSwagga Like Us,mwhich gained notable popularity and plays on MySpace. YoungblitZ recorded his first complete album in 2007, titled âœPrince of G.I.â and it was released in early 2008. With the backing and support of Jaidot Media and Freedom Music Group, YoungblitZ released his second album, titled âœThe TranZitionâ on September 13th, 2008. Currently still residing in Georgia, YoungblitZ is a current junior at Pebblebrook High School. His future plans include writing and directing films as well as continuing his rap career and producing music for other artists.
