Sleep Distance is my ambient/electronic music project. I am a guitarist, and I like incorporating synths and ambient guitar sounds in my music. I also very much enjoy Michael Manring's fretless bass pieces, and so I play some fretless bass in a few of my compositions. Some of my pieces are a little more composed, others are largely improvised.

Story behind the song
Instruments used were a Hamer Artist Korina electric guitar, through a Scholtz Sustainor preamp and a Digitech Studio 5000 effects unit for the washes, and through a Yamaha G-100 amp head plugged into a Marshall 1-12 speaker cabinet for the melodic improvisation. Two synths were used: Arturia Jupiter 8V for the bass note, and the PPG2.V for the part at the end of the piece.
