This group of songs dates back to 1994. At the time I was recording to a Fostex 4 track cassette recorder and sequencing using an Atari ST Mega 2 computer. The songs have been remastered and audio quality drastically improved. The pieces were inspired by the Entartete Kunst art exhibit which toured Germany in the 1940's and by the persecution which many brilliant artists endured during that time. The Nazis ridiculed and destroyed the work of many brilliant artists, and persecuted the artists. Other artists destroyed their own work to avoid being arrested. Behind the Nazis' destructive acts was the mentality that there were "right" and "wrong" kinds of artistic expression.
