Story behind the song
I originally wrote this (for guitar and voice) on the roof of the parking garage at Mark Jefferson hall, Eastern Michigan University, in the summer of 1993. Over time it became some kind of a standard when I performed it. Here is the second verse of the song, rearranged for vocals.
