It's a strange little song - a conversation between a confused, love-struck Cowboy and his ever helpful Guardian Angel. It starts off slow and melodic then kicks into a triumphant rocky outro as the boy finally gets the girl. Hope you like it folks!

Based in Oxford UK, Ryan lived with his grandparents from an early age where old time country music was always being played in the house. Every Sunday young Ryan would be taken to the High Chaparral Country night in Oxford and his passion for country music grew stronger and stronger. Ryan's mum took him to Nashville and Memphis for his 16th birthday and when he visited Gracelands, the passion turned into an addiction. As he walked through the door, he said to his mum "Jeez! What a place! If I have to marry Lisa Marie or buy it out of my future royalties - one day I'll own this place but that Jungle Room has to go!" Ryan is now writing songs and in the process of recording his first album.

Story behind the song
Written and recorded over several sessions at Rooftop Studio between November 2009 and January 2010, my new song 'Guardian Angel' features Dale Marshall on drums, Ana Arroyave on vocals and Mick Clack on guitars, bass, keyboards and backing vocals. I think we've really captured something special with this recording.
