"...I too play a guitar- but sometimes I play the fool" -John Lennon
Mostly, I write originals songs and record/produce the material at home. I just play acoustic/electric guitar, sometimes bass. I'll fill out the songs with other "instruments". Lately I've been filming renditions of these songs, doing covers of pop/rock songs, and making music videos of my material.

Lyrics
Late afternoon in July In the hammock watching time go by Radio's playing but half of it's static I don't mind though- I'm systematic Drifting through on summer's heat Can't help smelling something sweet Life is better in the garden Life is better in the garden Ivy tendrils cling to the arbor Unaware of my oasis-harbor Bluebird chirping out on a limb Can't help wondering what it's like being him A sanctuary to convalesce Reading a novel by Herman Hesse Life is better in the garden Life is better in the garden Normally I'm not one for creeds But it's therapeutic pulling weeds Damsel fly is in distress Can't help thinking more is less Basking in the rays of the sun Can't help feeling I'm having fun Life is better in the garden Life is better in the garden (Repeat and don't fade) words and music: Geoff Orbegoso (c) 2010

Brilliantly written and performed. Superb production too! This track has a vibe and touch of magic that is hard to define, yet when you hear it you know it has something special. Love that chorus and the hook - the kind of song that you gladly take away with you and keeps playing in your head for days - awesome!

Hi Geoff, Been listening to your songs. Excellent production on everything I have heard and your guitar work sounds excellent. Like this song. I can imagine life is better in the garden! Nice work. Thanks for adding my Cakewalk beatle cover to your station I heard a lot of good Beatley covers on your station.

Hey this is a nice catchy little song. Dare I say, a Beatles, 'Revolver' period rhythm guitar tone and a kind of mid sixties West Coast groove to the vocals (early Spirit with Randy California ?), but also a very up to date feel too. I like it . . .! I hope you don't mind me making those comparisons. I mean them all as compliments to your great song. you'll notice that I didn't say retro. This sounded great through speakers with a bit of VOLUME. Nice.
