Rock song about rock songs. This is still a demo version but the arrangement is probably complete. New version as of 4/11/2010.
Story behind the song
I came up with the opening riff the first time I jammed with some guys that played for a bit in Poppa Vein.
It's about looking for a role model when you're growing up and finding one or more.

============================================================
( Verse 1 )
When I was young I heard the Tales of Brave Ulysses
I used to lay in my White Room, wonder who this is
Through open windows pours the Sunshine of Your Love
Couldn't get enough, I wore the Badges by the Spoonful
( Chorus )
I was a young boy looking for a hero
A man or god, Plato or Cicero
Can you tell me who will be my hero
( Verse 2 )
If Six was Nine, couldn't buy more time, not one more hour
That I could spend All Along the Watchtower
For One Rainy Wish that I could steal or I could borrow
I'll bide my time and I will Wait Until Tomorrow
( Repeat Chorus )
( Solo )
( Bridge )
I looked at religion and history
They didn't offer very much to me
A wall of sound touched my soul
A rock and roll six string hero
( Repeat Chorus )
