Story behind the song
Like an imaginary friend this track has its own unique, elaborate personality and behavior. It not only uplifts its listeners, it has the power cultivate and arouse the human senses. It mixes lush uplifting and melodic sequences which the occasional transformation into a strong and powerful bass line to keep the listener captivated and feeling alive. It is both intense yet airy at the same time. When I set out to create Imaginary Friend I had in mind to make something extraordinary in terms of airiness, emotion, melodic, and uplifting trance. As the track to shape in my sequencer angelic pianos of reFX Nexus along with an insane amount of layered trance leads and sweeping epic pads eventually resulted in a wonderful concoction of atmospheric elements. The thought also crossed my mind to make a vocal trance track of this but the lack of a singer, and the lack of energy to chase after one, resulted in a purely instrumental release. If the opportunity presents itself I will create an alternative edit of this song with sweet female vocals aa‚¬a€œ are you that singer?
