Story behind the song
I initially composed a piano piece 'Lament' Copyright © 2005 and I uploaded it on Songramp in section music seeking lyrics. Dorinda created her beautiful lyric, an amazing melody and sang like an angel our song.
Lyrics
"Flying With Angels" Music/Piano by Nadia Cripps Copyright © 2005 Lyrics/Vocals/Melody by Dorinda Weaver Copyright © 2010 I take my last breath As I hear you cry You question........why? It's my time to go His voice calls me home I move on alone Then angels, angels wait to surround me with love as we Soar through a space of aqua blues and emerald greens, vivid scenes I Feel.............. Peace, as I see angels Embrace me securely There's incredible light that shines in souls taking flight to eternal freedom Flying with angels angels, angels Peace

Nadia, Good morning! I gave your song a listen and found it mezmorizing and haunting in a strange way. There's light and dark within the music and the lyrical content that yearns for more. A symphonic version would enhance this totally into a new environment and dimension as one floats away with the Angels. I like this song very much and find myself seeking more.. great writing,, both of you!!! Good Luck, Your Friend, BOB
