Story behind the song
MArk is a dedicated artist who would stay up all night rehearsing his music. It is so good the neighbor's dogs show their appreciation.
Lyrics
The Neighbors' Dogs ? 2008 Wild Bill Austin Verse 1 I'll sing you a little "tail" about my buddy, Mark. You see, he works all day, writes cool songs after dark, And when he doesn't have a gig or a jam, Stays home and plays an impromtu program. In between his tunes, you can hear the neighbors' doggies bark. Chorus An aspiring superstar whose work is never done-- Sets up mics and cameras, 'bout a' half past one. Now it's four in the morning, and Mark should be sawing logs. But he's playing his ePod and singing for the neighbors' dogs. Verse 2 The dogs next door like the sounds, but they're inclined to howl. When Mark is outside in the yard, you know, they never growl. When he speaks to them, they cock their heads and hold their ears up high. ["LIKE JUGGS!!"] Yeah!! Then they look at each other and think, "hey, that's the guy!" Chorus Break Verse 3 Everything was going fine till Mark misplaced his keys, Then this strange, little voice said, "Oye!! You lookin' for dese??" He looked down, and a little chihuahua asked him, "Well??" "Are dey yours, or not? Gotta get back to Taco Bell!" Bridge Now Mark includes the dogs in all his plans. They found his keys, and he's one of their biggest fans. Chorus Monday October 20, 2008
