The release of their debut attack, Power Trap did just that, its fast rhythms, blistering leads and over-the-top vocals made it one of the most innovative albums to ever be released. An album so diverse, encompassing blasphemy, war, and natural devastation, it was quickly embraced by fans of extreme metal and influenced upstarts. Though for the band, the album was an artistic and metal success, it hadn't gained the critical acclaim that other bands inferior to D.O.P had been lavished with.
