It was not until I was ten that my parents starting noticing I had any interest in music whatsoever, and it was not until 2007 that I actually picked up the hobby of musical composition and production. I have had more than enough dimensions of inspiration - my life journey, my friends, my family, and my Savior - and I know for a fact that I will never produce even a tenth of all the joyful songs I have written. I am more than glad to use the extraordinary talents that God has given me for His glory and to inspire others. I have been blessed far beyond measures of human comprehension, and the least I can do in return is give my life to the One who started it all. I am an American, to be sure . . . however, that does not mean I was born or raised in America. As a missionary kid, I have been to corners of the globe that only National Geographic has taken most of my friends. I have experienced God at work in so many different and powerful ways, and I can express only a fraction of my emotions through some of the songs that you may be listening to right now. I am no more perfect than any other human being: I have seen indescribable joy, and I have seen heart-shredding despair. But through it all, God is still mine and I am still His, and I am going to forever praise His name . . . would you care to join me?

Story behind the song
We all have friends, and at some point in our lives, we may find a friend that exceeds all expectations – a friend who we can’t do anything without. When such dear friends are no longer there to share their smile with us every day, all we can do is be reminded of them by all things wonderful . . . just like they are wonderful.
Lyrics
Verse 1 I’m afraid to blow a bubble too pretty at sight Because I know it’ll pop in a second in spite Of all I do to keep it here so I can admire Everything about it as it dances and smiles With its cute little freckles it bounces with glee A splash of rainbow completes the scene But it won’t stay long until it leaves And pops inside the old oak tree And furthermore . . . Chorus It reminds me of you and everything That we didn’t get to do; the songs we didn’t sing I’d give up every sunset I’ve seen with my eyes ‘Cause when you look at me it’s prettier than anything else alive Verse 2 I haven’t shown my face to the world today ‘Cause there’s so many things that are in the way At least they’re giving me something else to do Than sitting here all day and thinking of you I’m afraid to look out and gaze at the sky Because I know I might see a butterfly Showing off its beauty to the sun with a grin But when I’d try to catch it, it would fly off again
