Waves in Motion is just me and my music - always moving and can go on any direction as there are no boundaries to music...
My band is a band of one member, just me... I play the guitar (acoustic. electric, classical, and 12 string) and I am expanding into additional instruments including percussion in the form of congas, bass, mandolin, and de Venezuelan "cuatro". I also like to add melodies to my songs by whistling. I have been playing the guitar for over 35 years, and have been composing progressions for the last 25 yrs. I have had the privilage of playing in 6 bands from Gospel, to classic rock, a bit of country, and instrumental arrangements with a classical twist/setting. Just recently purchased a home recording studio and I am learning how to use it, and how to add additonal instrumentation.

Story behind the song
This is one of those songs that always lifts my spirits - although the connotation is a bit dreary, it is not a dreary song. It is more like, well here you are in the middle of it, and all around you there are many things happening. This song is about my life in general, and I have always found people that make it better - make it fun no matter what. This song is for Junior (Melvin) Schmidt a friend and co-worker - the way to picture this song is like a Bugs Bunny Cartoon with the Tasmanian Devil (Tas) - just a very funny person and a good source of light in a dark room...
