This is a very intense song also, you have a good way of putting words in your songs to make people think. I guess that is the point. Excellent Job !!! Seems so simple but so full of passion.

hi Roger,
you are right we need to make peace if we possibly can.Sometimes we just can't. Some people are to messed
up wanting Power and money. This seems Anti American.
i am American, and I believe I am defintely a Patriot to.
All the wars were horrible and sometimes they weren't
justified, We have made mistakes but some of us have
learned from them, There are still good peaceful Americans
like me and other people I know.
i do like the melody and the passion behind this song.
The words dsiturb me at times.
i know you are very honest, I do admire you for that,
Blessings,
Heleana Maria

Wow this is world class. I never liked Dylan, I think it was his voice, I just didn't get it. I might have thought differently if he had sung like this. Your vocal really expresses the passion of the great lyric perfectly - you can feel it. Yes I'm liking this a lot - truly impressive stuff.

Good writing Rodger...great protest song and delivered with your trademark passion. Recorded as if it was sung at an outdoor festival. Shades of John Mellencamp in your vox here. Out of the box and well done!

I came to hear the song and read the lyrics; I hear Bruce Springteen in your vocals, Roger. :)
You're right people ought to listen to the fact that Vengeance is Mine, Saith the Lord...But on the other hand..the Bible has references to so many battles that were fought, and the Lord assisted the majority of them.
The point is, we've always had to fight for what we hold as evident truths; such as freedom...and sometimes, He just watches to see what will happen..though He does know everything.
Now, I don't get into politics, but I do respect people's political views...and I was throwing a Biblical view in. :)
Have a good one..think I'm going to go hear your next song, too while I'm here..this one was really interesting. :D
See you there. :D
great Lyrical content and nice guitar and vocal delivery Roger.
