Yet another song where I distance myself from the mindless refuse most emcees produce. Education and entertainment fused together perfectly.

Infinite Skillz - Bringing A Message To The Party And Some Fun To The Thinkers.
1. Swoon Music 2. Poetry In Motion 3. Good Music (Chill Time) 4. Man’s World 5. Remember When 6. Fire *Bonus Instrumental* 7. Diamond Ring *Bonus Track* 8. Give It All Away Hip Hop Reborn. Infinite Skillz is lyrical purity and word-play mated with present day consciousness. If you like Skillz (formerly known as Mad Skillz), KRS ONE, Run DMC, Beastie Boys, Gangstarr, Jurassic Five, or The Roots, you'll love Infinite. He is the organizing member of B.A.S.E INC out of the Hip Hop hotbed known as Virginia. Infinite Skillz started in an Atlanta based crew called Unparalleled Sound (UPS). The four-man consortium met while attending college at various institutions in the Atlanta University Center. He and the rest of UPS went their separate ways after graduation. With the Hip Hop bug firmly implanted, Infinite left Atlanta after graduating from Morehouse College and moved to a small town named Searcy in North Central Arkansas for grad school. The lack of social stimulation and/or progress inspired Infinite to finish his 2-year program in 16 months. With school (and Arkansas thankfully) behind him, that drive is now being channeled into his many hustles. Music is one of them.

Story behind the song
The title says it all. I'm just trying to raise the conscious level of hip hop fans.
Lyrics
Verse 1 That’s it. I can no longer hold my tongue. My people, your diction reminds me of cow dung. The tongue can bring treasure or be a trap. When are we going to stop using this word in rap? This is NOT an acceptable label. I’m BLACK as can be and it wasn’t used at my table. Whether you add the ‘R’ or leave it with just the ‘A,’ The word is foul and its use is not okay Your skin tone doesn’t mean, I’m letting that pass If you use it in my presence, I hope you run fast. The days are gone that they forced us to work like mules. Yet we hold on to slave terms, just like fools. It’s NOT a term of endearment You might mean love but hate is what I’m hearing. HOOK N-not human I-ignorant. G-good for nothing and grossly militant E is for education they claim we lack R referring to everything evil as black Verse 2 Don’t be satisfied with shadows, strive for true light If we keep using slave talk, we can never get right. They’ll continue to treat us like we’re mental elves. We can’t command their respect, till we respect ourselves? Subhuman. Lazy. Shiftless. Stupid. These labels are preserved when we continue usage. It’s bad enough they say it, but I don’t understand. How yall can, chime right in like some kind of band. You should be reading the The Souls of Black Folks. Instead of feeding the mindset that creates black jokes. When’s the last time you heard an Asian call himself a chink? Or heard a Polish man say “I really can’t think.” We’re the only people wallowing in self-denigration When our focus should be on self-determination. Verse 3 They called us this and said we were only good at spearing. They called us this and treated black men as children They called us this and then clowned us with minstrel shows. They called us this and kept us down with Jim Crows. They called us this and said we’re 3 fourths men. They called us this and took us from amongst our kin. They called us this and put us through the middle passage. They called us this and made us call them master. They called us this because they hated our dark skin. When we use this word I feel the pain again.
