Song about my generation the Baby Boomers.
HI, I'm Marvin Perkins, there is no band just me. I am a songwriter as yet unpublished and been writing songs off and on for thirty years. I just retired from the U.S. Navy a few months ago and some day hope to be able to "quit my day job" and write full time. Hope you like my songs. Let me know your comments good or bad.

Story behind the song
Just wanted to write a song about my generation and some of our accomplishments.
Lyrics
Baby Boomers drive big expensive cars. Used to dreamof being rock stars. Fought and died in Vietnam. Gave their lives for the good ole Uncle Sam. Baby Boomers grew their hair long. Marched in the streets, sang protest songs. Gave peace a chance, played rock and roll Rhythm and blues, and Memphis soul. Chorus: But it's all right It's all right now. Baby Boomers you were a child. Of the forties and fifties You should be proud. baby Boomers. Baby boomers, still wetting your bloomers. In the Korean War. Went to college in the sixties, we just knew that you would go far. Chorus: But it's all right It's all right now. Baby boomers you were a child. But now you're past middle age you should be proud. Baby Boomers Baby Boomers.
