I was thinking of my time in the western US and contemplating the unpredictability of the tumbleweeds and dust. I then came to see the analogy between them blowing through an old town like relationships blowing through our ageing lives. This parallel combined with the critical need for self reflection and desire to grow spiritually made way for this song.
