Story behind the song
"Tornado" is about temptation from the devil. It's easy to fall into and loose grip of God. A tornado represents that in this song.
Lyrics
The wind is rushing through my hair. And the clouds are heading my way. Is it... can't be. Over the hills, I see something. And it's something that I have never seen. A tornado heading my way. Tornado, please go away. We don't want you here, so can you please go away. Tornado, please go away. And don't you realize you're going to fade anyways. The wind is getting stronger, and the people are so afraid, they don't know what to do. I don't either. So I hold onto a pole, and the wind is starting to pick me up. I'm starting to let go. The devil's like the tornado that tries to keep us away from God, and here I am knowing that I'm going to fly far away. And I don't want to, so I call unto you, Lord, and now I'm standing on the ground.
