Story behind the song
Kevin Sprung this song on us one nite at practice; and we all took an intrest in the song, but we were playing alot of show at the time so we didn't have much time to work on it. We learned it enough to record the music when we did our demo, but had no words for it. It was the first of the ten songs Todd worked on but it went nowhere so we set it aside and came back to it after we finished the other 9 songs. Again the song was going nowhere with the lyrics Todd wrote, so he tore the lyrics up and sang new lyrics off the the top of his head in ONE TAKE! The vocals were so moving and beautiful, that Jason's Bassline no longer fit the song, so he dumped the track and re did it with an old bass going into a cheap radio shack amp going straight into the computer to get a more vintage unobtrusive sound.
