Story behind the song
Regarding this song, a lot of people always asked me if it was me or if this situation ever happened to me. We [Germ & I] were actually trying to put a spin on the whole baby's mama thing. I noticed in a lot of songs everyone talked about having a baby at a young age and no responsibility. Like it was cool. So we decided to tell a story about a kid who's irresponsible at first but later learns to accept his responsibilities like a "true" man. this song was actually recorded on a NEVE console at the Conservatory where I went to school at in Arizona. It was a class project and was later stitched together on my Roland 880.
