Artist picture
We play a harder more rockish type of emo now than our MP3 shows you. We scream our guts out and play hard every single show. It's all about the music!
Off the Deep End has been around for about 10 months playing venues in the Milwaukee, Madison and Chicago area. They come from the Madison area playing a unique brand of emo music. The members are Evan Menzer (vocals/bass) Jake McCormick (screams/vocals/guitar) Zeb Gockenbach (ingenius guitar) and Scott Strandlie (excellent drumming). They have recorded a short 5-song demo CD and are looking to do a fulkl length sometime this summer in a professional studio.

Story behind the song
I see guys not paying attention, or cheating on their girlfriends a lot. Its just a feeling i had and i needed to put it to music. It's basically about me and my relationships...im a fuck up. - Evan
Lyrics
Everything has turned to gray/Now that she has gone away/And im staning here in this quiet summer street/The seasons start to change/ But my feelings stay the same/ The leaves fall down around my feet Lost and used/ Fucked and abused Its a broken season/And its only getting worse/I came in through the window/ And i left inside a hurse You walked out the door that night/Saying we'd be alright/ As i watched the black and white static/ The TV continues to play/ Its been on since you went away/And the lush in me says to just forget about. Reapeat Pre-Chorus/Chorus This night won't mean anything to him/ This night means everything to her/ I think there's something wrong with them/Her words are spoken through the threads of a tear-soaked shirt.
