The rings of the planet Saturn are divided into the inner rings (B rings) and the outer rings (A rings). In between there is a division discovered by the italian Giovanni Cassini in the 17th century. The NASA mission aircraft to Saturn is named Cassini-Huygens after Giovanni Cassini. I was looking at a picture of it when I was writing this piece.
