Story behind the song
This song has never really been recorded Proper, we recorded this the night we wrote it straight to a cassette deck, there are clearly flubs on my guitar part. It's just one guitar and voice. I think that these are some of Johns strongest lyrics, he does not. He is wrong. I do have a new version of the music that I recorded, pretty heavily arranged with strings, oboe, more strings and acoustic guitar all synthesized, yes even the acoustic guitar is synthesized and played from a guitar. Kinda strange I know, use a computer, a guitar and a bunch of software to make a guitar sound like a guitar, but whoever said I do things the easy way. Anyway I will post that version too and hopefully I can get John to put a vocal on it and give it the recording it deserves.
