Elisha Zaporelostzi's first performances were the Open Stages put on by the Bytown Live in Ottawa Ontario, Canada. It is how Neil Young and Joni Mitchell started. Phreap magazine is a one page thing that went around Ottawa in the 1980s. Now it is a web site; http://home.att.ne.jp/blue/patchan With the help of Joe-Charly Smith, Molly Ding, Calhoon-Fred Febealie, and Butter Jones I was able to put out Phreap magazine.

Story behind the song
Unfinished; "Once did I serve a cruel heart" Music by Robert Jones & words Anonymous. This is a duet and so I thought it would fit well into the Choral Classical genre. Unfortunately so far I have only recorded the low voice and the main voice is absent. Unfortunately 2009 is running out and I may not have time to finish it. Unfortunately my 250 meg zip disk is just about run out of memory. The cruel lady in the picture [Sept. 21 2008] was around smiling and laughing when I was figuring the chords [March 23, 2009]. This is a new song for me that I had never played until, this year, its 400 year birthday. Working out the chords; March 23, 28 & April 6, 2009. Recorded; Wednesday, April 8, 2009 - rhythm guitar Sunday, July 20, 2009 - 2nd voice part guide - keyboard viola. August 26, 2009. - 2nd voice vocal with guitar. These new songs are celebrating their 400th year birthdays. This year is the 400 year anniversary of the publication of yet another Booke by Robert Jones (who I try to specialize in). I really did miss doing a recording of any of his music for the 400 year anniversary of the publication of his 1st 2nd & 3rd Bookes (1600, 1601 & 1605). This year was different and I have worked on 4 of the songs from this 1609 booke "A Musical Dreame or the Fourth Booke of Ayres 1609"; III. Once Did I Serve a Cruel Heart, XI. And Is It Night? XII. She Hath an Eye, XIX. In Sherwood Lived Stout Robin Hood. However, so far, I have only finished the recording of XII. She Hath an Eye, and it does not look like I have the time to finish the others before the year is out.
Lyrics
III. ONCE DID I SERVE A CRUEL HEART Music by Robert Jones & words by an Anonymous Writer. Once did I serve a cruel heart, With faith unfainde I still importune, Her piercing looks that wrought my smart, She laughs and smiles at my misfortune, And says perhaps you may at last, By true desert loves favour taste. And says perhaps you may at last, By true desert loves favour taste.
