I wrote the 11/8 riff (intro) at a time when I was (and still am) totally captured by time-switch phrases from such bands as Dreamtheater, Tool, and System of a Down. Josh is a G for writing the illmatic beats. The guitar riffs in the clean verse sections are a favorite.
