Story behind the song
I needed a concept and then decided to write about water. So I walked outside of my studio and sat by the waterfall that parallels the mill where my band practices. Of course, water alone can be too simple to write a whole song about so I made it a metafor. A Flood of people gather together in a futuristic march against inhumanities committed toward mother nature.

Oh my friends, why do we,
Insist that we can own anything,
Though our powers be creativity,
There’s no way to outlast our beginnings,
Take sometime to realize that everything we have taken has not been paid for.
I suggest you find a jacket that may save your life from the rapids.
Flood Humanity is sinking.

The greatest men to walk the earth,
Would gather a million men to march,
And protest against unrighteous acts that hold a people from steppin’ up,
So what about our governments; when it’s people that gather the difference,
And now my friends, amend the rules, become a part only if you choose to,
