Story behind the song
The kernel melody of When I Feel More dates from a tune I wrote in Iowa City, IA in the summer of 1996.
It's about a misunderstood intuitive that the world does not know how to take. I humbly hang this number on a small branch of the tree that is that Gnarls Barkley tune, the one you ve heard about a billion times.
What I am saying is the song was inspired by Gnarls Barkley.
