I'm a small town girl with a lot on her mind. It seems music is a good way for me to get these thoughts out! I've had a bunch of songs that I've written collecting dust in the closets of my brain over the past 10 years and have finally gotten the chance to sit down and put them into "reality", all from "Kuck Studios" (a.k.a. my unfinished basement). Story behind the song
I used to work Saturday mornings at the front desk of a hotel/restaurant. There was a piano in the dining room, which wasn't used until they opened for dinner at 5pm. There weren't any guests staying that weekend, so the place was literally empty, so I seized the opportunity to sit down at the piano and mess around. At that time, my relationship with God had been experiencing some growing pains, so I wanted to express that to Him I was surrendering my all.
