BLUESBOX is a group of friends playing together, recording and uploading their stuff in the internet. It's not a traditional band ..... maybe it's more like an independent recording label. Everything is done without profit being involved, though. It costs us no big money to do it. I tell you: we would buy our instruments and use our time to play them anyway, wouldn't we ? There you go, as silly as it can be ..... we just do it for the sake of music. Unluckily we can be very lazy: most of the things are totally improvised ..... and recorded in a very basic way ..... but does it really matter ? Nobody's perfect ... right ? Story behind the song
MILTON (W.V.) - 17TH MARCH 1977 T-bone was walking down the lane and saw an ad. "Marlene's Profecies" it was saying. "What the heck ?" he thought, "I must see it". He entered the a tent, made of leather, twigs and stalks. Inside a lamp was burning and T-bone immediately felt like to be thrown back in the past. The smell inside was unusual, a big black pan was boiling with steam rising up to the ceiling. A woman with a strange large hat was standing in the middle. She was dressed in black and her eyes were widely dilatated. She was talking with a strange voice, like if it was crackling through an old radio. "What are you here for, sir ?". She looked young ... but was she old ? Her accent was weird, like coming form a Latin blooded woman, but still there was a hint of mistery in the way she talked. T-bone thought at first she was an illitetarate trying to get her cash for the day. She was a frotune teller. Therefore nothing was to be taken too seriously. "I want to know my future". T-bone felt like he fell in a trap ... now what ? He threw the dice and now he had to play the game. "Man it is quite a thing. It requires you to pay 20 bucks ... cash on the barrel. Plus you gotta have guts to take what will come". A black guy with a red cape came out of the shade, from a corner of the tent. "I am Steve, you can call me The Heaer". "I'm T-bone, good to meet you. I want to know about some rumors in town, they're bugging me since the day I came back. How much would be for that ?". "I guess Marlene here will charge you 50 bucks .... it is an unusual request that need extra work and energies". "That's OK". T-bone sat down at the table and Marlene suddenly was there, when he turned his head. How did she do that ? She moved like suspended in the air ..... a blue light was shining under her black skirt. "You'll get emotional .... I'm warning you. But it won't be perpetual .... it is not sensational. You will know the truth, your wounds will be exposed. You'll cry but you will feel different after. You'll be another man, I'm giving you the chance to see your own truth". That woman was giving the shivers..... but now for T-bone it was time to play that game.
