Story behind the song
When I was in 5th grade, my teacher, Mrs. Colleen Mitchell, made us write letters to an alien named Neelloc. (Neelloc is Colleen spelled backwards.) We had to explain math concepts to this foreign creature. I suppose I became attached to this character in my head and in high school, I decided to write a song about him.
