Story behind the song
I wrote this after watching The Movie the Passion of The Christ. I was really struck by Mary during the scene when she was wiping all the blood up after Christ was whipped within a inch of his life. I'm sure Mary had so many questions, doubts, and memories. I'm sure she was as confused as all the disciples were. And, I know she hurt like only a mother could. I wonder how much she new ahead of time.
